Larry Mandt helped create and has been the Supervising Producer for “Jim Rome is Burning” since 2003. A graduate of Saint Johns University , Larry found his way into the entertainment business as a Production Assistant in New York City on numerous music videos for a variety of artists including Salt & Pepa, Kid 'n Play, Harry Connick Jr and Color Me Badd.

These early jobs landed him a position at Channel 9 in New York where he Assistant Produced and Assistant Directed New York Mets Baseball and Channel 9 News. With a talent for sports programming, Larry freelanced at the MSG Network and covered NCAA and NFL football for both NBC and CBS. He also worked on the NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament at CBS and won an Emmy for CBSs 1997 Sports coverage.

In 1999, Larry moved on to tackle day time talk shows becoming the Post Production Producer for the Maury Povich show. In 2003 Larry was presented with an opportunity to combine his talents with sports programming and day time talk shows for Mandt Bros. Productions.
