Whacky Dating Story Internet Series Gets a Nomination

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced the nominees for the Broadband Emmy Awards today and the internet drama series Tim’s Dates received a nomination for Best Broadband Drama. Tim’s Dates is a live action scripted internet series that brings to life in short form the worst dates of the show’s lead character Tim.
Created and Produced by Neil Mandt and Michael Mandt, Tim’s Dates stars writer and producer Eric Wing as the “most unlucky dater in the world.” Each week the audience is invited to join Tim as he recalls a horrific dating experience with a different woman. Neil and Michael Mandt are seasoned producers and directors. They are the Executive Producers of ESPN’s Jim Rome is Burning and Beg, Borrow & Deal, E! Entertainment’s My Crazy Life and Sci Fi’s new series Destination Truth. In addition to their television credits, the Mandt Bros. produced the wildly popular internet series Last Stop For Paul which will be released as a full length feature film in theaters on October 12, 2007.
